Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Italy Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Italy showed varied performance trends. Here's an overview based on data from Sensor Tower.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a steady presence throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at around 21K and dipped to 14K mid-quarter before climbing back to approximately 18K by the end of March. Its weekly active users saw a dip from 1.3M to 1M early in the quarter, then recovered to 1.2M by the end.

Google Earth demonstrated consistent download activity, fluctuating between 12K and 17K. The app's weekly active user count increased steadily, peaking at nearly 470K by the end of March.
